D&D Campaign Ideas
It's probably not a surprise to anyone that the IT dork plays D&D but I have been writing custom campaigns ever since I made the mistake of buying the Castle Ravenloft box for 4E. Not a huge financial burden as the minis and tiles are worth it, but I can count on an Aarakocra's talons how many 4E games I've run, that said, the Ravenloft setting did heavily influence my writing so I wouldn't change it if I could. Anyway here's some campaigns and session ideas I've had over the years, I don't use static stac checks so tailor it to whatever level the party is or how strict you want to be... I won't judge.
The Forgotten Prison
A survival horror campaign inspired by Lovecraft's The Music of Erich Zann
This campaign begins as players are traveling so it can be slotted into existing adventures or used in session one.
Players are framed for a blasphemous crime and sent to a prison in the sands, once inside players must find a way out uncovering a mystery along the way or they'll be lost to the madness that radiates through the prison walls.
